New NewsLab, new website
Three times new(s) in this title. It may be clear, that something has changed at NewsLab. In 2017, founders Marc and Hans decided to take a step back after 12 years at their very own NewsLab. Isabelle and I picked up the baton and took over the day-to-day management of the office. The gentlemen are still involved in substantive material, but leave us – together with the team – up to decide and sail the agency’s new course.
It was a year in which I, together with a group of new colleagues, started at NewsLab and in which Isabelle had a beautiful son. That is why in the first year we concentrated mainly on ‘internal’ matters. To get used to each other, to build a solid team, to create good projects for our customers and to connect various specialists (our “ExpertLab”) firmer to us.
Now that a year has passed, it is high time to show the outside world what we do as an agency. That includes a new site. One that shows what the ‘new NewsLab’ stands for. With a team in which experience and a fresh view on the profession come together perfectly. With people who constantly spend their time dealing with the developments within the PR business and others who prefer to focus on a specialism. With great minds and do’ers in media relations and influencer specialists.

Our new website shows what the new NewsLab stands for.
The site has only just gone ‘live’, so we are still working on fine-tuning everything. But we are happy to start sharing it with you. From now on, we will regularly show you here and on our social channels, who NewsLab is and what we do. What our opinion about the profession is, what work we do for our awesome customers and especially: our great minds. Because the success of an agency falls or stands with the people. We will introduce everyone extensively in the coming period. For now you can already meet the NewsLab team via our team page. Including new photos in and around the NewsLab building.
Colleagues will also regularly share a ‘day in their lives’. From wonderful press trips to the beautiful Curaçao to a polonaise with the Roelvinkjes in Spain. And from that beautiful front page in the Dutch newspaper AD to a successful video production. Interesting to share, but also informative to students who consider working in the PR profession. We also created the section ‘Throwback Thursday’, where we pick on of our beautiful projects from the past on a monthly base. Because even though we just introduced you the new NewsLab, we are extremely proud of our roots and there are lots of great cases to share.
A new phase starts for NewsLab and we are incredibly excited! Hopefully you regularly watch the new NewsLab evolve with us. Feedback on the site is always welcome. All we do is learn from that. So please share your opinion with me via talitha.dirkzwager@newslab.nl. Or come over for a coffee to get to know the team!
